My Past
Adopted by a family of farmers and horse trainers, I grew to learn the ways of horses and honed my skills in archery. Having been shunned by my father for being different, and with a couple of unintentional murders (done by my own hand), I decides it would be better to leave home permanently for my own sanity. Wolves often plagued my father's heard of sheep and it was my job to ward them off. Upon killing two wolves, somehow the bodies had shaped back into human beings. Whenever I see a wolf now, I'm more wary of killing it then I had before. I find a new life in a town across the mountains where I'm able to put my mind at ease working as a stable hand. I tell no one of my previous upbringing nor my doings, and start anew. Unbeknownst to me, there will be more murders that need to be carried out for the greater good, even if it means confronting my worst fear.

My family includes my mother Lorna Loomer, my father Randal Paddockson, my brother Simon Paddockson, and my sister Tris Paddockson. My father is the son of a long line of horse breeders. He inherited the farm from his fore fathers and his knowledge about horse rearing and breeding. He is a thick, muscular man with a short temper. I was never really close to him, and it didn't mater what I did, I could never please him. Father was in charge of operations on the farm. I always looked up to my mother. She loved to teach, and teach she did! Her side of the family was very crafty with weaving and sewing. She was also a fabulous cook! Sometimes she's take her most recent works down to the market to trade or sell to the merchants that came by. Lorna never let Randal push her around, no matter how big and scary he could be. My brother Simon was favored by my father. As soon as he turned 18, father began grooming him in the ways of horsemanship, and to one day take over the farm. Simon also had a way with smith craft. He could make some pretty cool things from refined metals. Father liked Tris enough, but not as much as Simon. Tris took after mother. She was born to weave and craft, just as mother did. As soon as Simon turned 18, we saw less of him. He was with father all the time at the stables or helping out with sales. Sometimes father went on trips and Simon always went with. Tris and I held up fine at home, but the more time Simon spent with father, the more like him Simon was becoming.
